Bio:

Have you ever been walking down the street, and suddenly heard a voice that made you walk into a venue to see whose it was? That is Jimbo Scott’s voice – a bell, magnetic and the definition of a powerhouse.  Jimbo Scott was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Oakland, California. Steeped in traditions of folk, roots, country, bluegrass and rock, Jimbo songs are honest, soulful dedications to the world he sees and the world he wants to live in.  In his songs “The Parklands” and “Good and Kind”, Jimbo focuses on sharing his perspectives on relationships with nature and community. His keen sense of introspection makes his songs both revealing and relatable. When he is not playing under his own name, Jimbo plays as the newest member of the famous northern California band, Poor Man’s Whiskey. In 2019, Jimbo will be releasing a new full length album, recorded to tape at San Francisco’s famed Tiny Telephone Studios, release date TBA.

  1. We love your sound! We are getting married at Sculpterra Winery in Paso Robles 03/03/18 and are looking for an acoustic guitar and cover singer to play during our ceremony and dinner. Would you be interested and available? If so we would really appreciate a quote to consider.

    Thank you so much,

    Lara & Sean
